The text contains two "ejemplares" (copies) titled La crónica del moro Rasis and La crónica Sarracina. Cortijo categorizes this volume as the "most valuable" of the Fernán Núñez collection from both a literary and paleographic point of view. After a dedication and prologue, the first chapter provides a geographical description of Spain, indicating that there existed two Spains, an east and a west. The first part begins at f. 34vb and continues to f. 226vb. The second part begins with a prologue on f. 226vb and continues until f. 340v. A fictional compilation of numerous legendary episodes about Roderick, the last Visigoth king, the Arab invasion, and the subsequent loss of Spain.
